The Voluntary Health Services (VHS) Chennai is a non-profit hospital and health
system providing affordable, compassionate healthcare to underserved communities.
Our work spans primary care, specialist services, research, and community outreach
across Tamil Nadu. VHS has been implementing health-related projects since 1995.
The Projects Division is the chartered unit of VHS implementing health-related
projects since 1995, working in partnership with national and international health
bodies to deliver community-focused interventions across India.
VHS Chennai is implementing the VHS–CDC Project ASPIRE (Advancing
Sustainability, Partnership, Innovations in Reaching Epidemic Control) in
partnership with Andhra Pradesh State AIDS Control Society (APSACS) under the
guidance of NACO, with support from U.S. PEPFAR–CDC. The project implements
person-centred HIV testing, referral, and navigation of HIV-positive individuals
to life-saving ART for all populations in Andhra Pradesh.
